Silverlight is not a finished product, and it probably won't really take off until 1.1 with the .Net framework ships. But I don't think we'll see a 'no flash' (remember the 'no java; edict?) until Silverlight ships in next major 'ship vehicle' of microsoft's choice - probably IE 8.

Not a bad bet. Still, the way they are pushing Silverlight, it surprised me.
