MySQL Connector/Net 5.1.7 a new version of the all-managed .NET driver for MySQL has been released. This is a minor release involving mainly bug fixes.

Version 5.1.7 works with all versions of MySQL including MySQL-4.1, MySQL-5.0, MySQL-5.1 beta or the MySQL-6.0 beta releases.

How to install MySql connector net 5.1.0 on Windows 2003 server. I tried many times but I always recieve an error reason why I can’t install it. The error is "There is a problem with this Windows Installer package. A program required for this install to complete could not be run." The installer that I’m using is ok, in fact it is what I used for Windows XP.

Any suggestions on how to solve this problem?

Many years ago I had the pleasure of working with and learning from Dave Dobson. I attended two of his in-depth workshops in Other-than-Conscious communication in Minneapolis, and one of his early Funshops in Friday Harbor. The things I learned from him have become part of my life, and have enabled me to be more effective as a human being and more sensitive to the nuances of my communication with other people. I appreciated his genius, and admired his integrity. He kept promising me that his book would be ready "soon," and I kept looking for it to help me refresh his teachings. He made me a wonderful offer to buy his airplane, and I wished many times I could have taken him up on it. He stimulated me to return to flying, and I flew for many years after that time. I am very sad that he is gone. I wish his loved ones peace and happiness.

many versions, now. You should switch from the org.gjt package (they are
aliases of each other, so it doesn’t really matter, but one day they
will probably drop the alias).
